Modern family home

We were asked to provide an outdoor environment for a young family. The homeowners had just completed a complete renovation of their home taking from the ’70s to a modern contemporary style. We added rectangle porcelain pavers in the front and back garden including heated front entrance pathways and steps. The rear patio includes a custom cedar horizontal pergola, a matching fence for climbing grape vines and a small seating area, a wildflower meadow and a matching enclosed fenced vegetable/herb/ fruit garden.

This enclosed vegetable garden is protected from deer by the 6ft high horizontal cedar fence. We used galvanised toughs for ease and low maintenance and our homeowners utilize this area all summer long.

Terrace

Paved stoop

Paved stoop

This lovely updated stoop designed by the architect just needs completing by adding matching pavers over the poured concrete. We heated this area for the long winter months as well as the pathway from the driveway.
